Mashup: Pecha-Kucha with a Twist

Posted on June 29, 2010

At this year’s CITRENZ/NACCQ conference we’re introducing Mashup: Pecha-Kucha with a Twist. This promises to be a fast paced, visual, interactive collaborative celebration of computing research.   You are invited to participate (even if you know nothing about computing or research!).

A Pecha Kucha sees the fast paced presentation of ideas – each presenter has 20 slides, each slide for 20 seconds.

Then comes the Twist: once the eight presenters are finished, the audience will decided on four new stories to tell – breaking into groups to select slides from the combined 160 slides. At the end of the event, the new stories will be emerge.

The event is sponsored by the Applied Research Design Centre (so wine and nibbles).

Time: 5pm (for a 5.30 start, should be done by 7.30)
Date: Wednesday 7th July
Where: Upstairs in Ozone, Manaaki, Harbour Tce, Otaho Polytechnic.
Who: You, colleagues, students, friends, family.

CITRENZ/NACCQ is the national conference of computing educators, hosted at Otago Polytechnic 6-9th July.
