Clever twist on “less stuff”

saverbox.jpgThe strapline for the DoTT07 Festival is “Better lives with less stuff”.  At a display focussing on improved energy management as a means to urban renewal there is an interesting twist on “less stuff”.  As part of the process energy consveration measures are supplied in a “saverbox”.  At the festival itself the organisers recognise that the “less stuff” message suffers from that this might be a hard ask for some people so they provide a blank saverbox – a paper cutout.  Visitors to DoTT07 were asked to write their own message on the box and take it home with them – an ingenious use of a little bit of stuff to carry no actual stuff except an important message that might not otherwise make it home.
