On the 6th August 10,000 people marched through Dunedin to support Neurosurgery in Dunedin.

Perhaps the most exciting bit for me was when the front of the march lapped the hospital and found the rear still on Hanover and even George St.

Great post Sam,
This has been a great effort to get this momentum growing. Let us hope that the right people not just see the action but take the message on board that the south will not compromise on some issues, health being one of the most important.

If one said it 10,000 said it. Keep Neurosurgery in Dunedin. If it goes to CHCH., thje who is responsible better pray out loud that some poor soul might die due to the time to get there. Brain surgery is not a thing to be mucked about it. The big bods are only thinking money not people. Go Dunedin Surgery hope this protest will be convincing.
